I’m currently supporting a tier 1 banking client looking for a WAF Security Engineer to join the team. This is an initial 6-month contract with the scope to be extended.

The ideal WAF Security Engineer must have extensive experience in the deployment, configuration and maintenance of cloud-native web application Firewalls.

• Understanding of Web application Technologies, Protocols and Security (HTTP, API, TLS, DNS, CDN etc)
• WAF deployment, tuning and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience of implemented Bot and DOS/DDos protection
• Good knowledge of Scripting languages including Bash, Python, JavaScript and automation experience
• Experience of implementing WAF in one or more cloud environments (AWS, Google, Azure )
