Lead UX Designer at a market-leading International Schools Organisation

Central London – Victoria – Hybrid Working
9-Month Fixed Term Contract – 82k Salary

Your New Company

You will be working for one of the global leading premium international schools’ organisations, who are looking to expand on their ever-growing 15,000 strong employee base, with an agile Lead UX Designer, who will not only expand on their expertise but will overlook a community of fellow UX Designers, all whilst reporting to a Senior Product Manager. With over 75 international schools based all over the globe with 75,000 students as part of its roster, you will be working under a renowned company of which you will be responsible for upholding 50 years’ worth of heritage and driving the brands recognition, with the purpose of revolutionising educational 21st Century Education.

Your New Role

You will be control of creating ground-breaking and useful educational technology digital products, with the aim of helping the wider team and stakeholders gain an insight to the digital production life cycle, through contributing your design expertise. By taking the overall lead in developing the visual and interaction with the aim of a final polished design, working on elements such as taking the organisations DNA and iconography into account will ensure that you will contribute to certifying the brand as the forefront of data-enhanced education. You will also be tasked to coordinate with external product developers and UX agencies to gain insight to new perspectives, as well as leading research into user behaviour to continuously develop new products.

What you will need to succeed

• A portfolio demonstrating your track record in creating outstanding product designs across different digital interfaces, be they mobile, tablet, voice or desktop
• Proven ability to discover, empathise with and prioritise the needs of a product’s users
• Proven experience of end-to-end digital product design
• Proven experience creating and championing a global design system, “brand book”, or similar
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for producing reports and presentations.
• Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures
• Excellent mix of creative & analytical skills – with the passion and drive to innovate but also quantify and demonstrate success
• Results orientated with the ability to consistently map efforts against identified KPIs
• Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks
