Underwriting Operations Analyst – Specialty Insurance – London – Permanent – £50,000 to £60,000 base + package

My client is a Global Specialist Reinsurance company are seeking an Underwriting Operation Analyst to join their Technical Operations team. This is a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of underwriting processes.

You will be responsible for ensuring accurate data entry from underwriting slips and handling any queries related to slip entries. The ideal candidate will have experience working with underwriters, entering slips into the system and understand the information within the slips. You will also be required to calculate premiums, so previous experience with aviation & marine would be beneficial.

Ideal Skillset:

• Previous experience as an Underwriting Operations Analyst/Technician from an Insurance firm
• An understanding of Binding Operations and a practical understanding of Underwriting systems including slip entry into systems
• Excellent stakeholder management, working with Underwriters
• Previous experience with MS Office, Word, Adobe Standard, Advanced Outlook & Excel
