Trading Engineer – Python/Rust – Excellent Six Figure Package Full Time

My client, a leading Crypto Company is looking for a Trading Engineer. As a developer, you’ll be a core part of the team building trading and risk systems.

You will develop and improve critical systems by focusing on resilience and responsiveness using Python/Rust. I would be keen to see generalists. You don’t need to fit into one of the engineering roles perfectly. The is a collaborative team where Traders & dev work together closely. All traders do dev work, and devs attend our research meetings. They set the bar high, and all work hard and push ourselves to discover new insights. Testing is essential to my client on all levels.

As a Core Trading Engineer, you’ll focus on contributing to our core trading system, exchange connectivity components and risk systems and working closely with traders.

Skills Needed:

Expert Python experience

Rust is a plus

Good design mentality

Experience working with micro-services and messaging systems (eg Redis, Kafka)

Experience with concurrent programming and multi-threading is a plus (esp. Async.io)
