Are you a Technology Delivery Manager looking to make an impact with one of the UK’s leading charities? We’re recruiting for an experienced Technology Delivery Manager to join us at Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity and support our Technology teams to deliver against our strategy and own our delivery roadmap and project delivery frameworks. You’ll play a pivotal role as part of the Technology senior management team working with all areas of the Charity to identify new opportunities and ensure our technology is fit for the future and delivered in a consistent, efficient, and quality driven manner. About the role As the Technology Delivery Manager, you will own the delivery function within Technology including our project delivery frameworks and project roadmap. You will be responsible a small team of professional project managers and business analysts managing the day-to-day delivery of technology solutions, services, systems, and processes, safeguarding business value and return on investment (ROI), and ensuring technology is delivered in a consistent, efficient, and quality driven manner. About the Team You will lead the Technology Delivery team consisting of two Project Managers and two Business Analysts. The team focusses on delivering technology solutions, services, systems, and processes within our Technology Roadmap. You will work with all areas of the Charity to identify new opportunities to ensure our technology is fit for the future, and in line with the Technology strategy. About you You will be a team player who has previous experience working as a delivery manager or programme director. You will be experienced building and leading a delivery team and be able to build trust quickly and effectively. You will be a great communicator able to clearly articulate complex messages and technical information to a variety of audiences. You will have experience evolving project delivery frameworks, developing project roadmaps, managing delivery professionals, and working with all areas of a business to fully realise technology opportunities. The ideal candidate will also: Be confident engaging with and managing stakeholders at all levels. Understand what is needed to support adoption and embed new ways of working. Have excellent organisation and time management skills.
