Hybrid working with two days a week from the Birmingham office (with travel allowance contribution)

Salary up to £105,000 plus bonus up to 20%, 10% pension, life assurance, private health care and more!

A leading insurer is looking for an experienced IT Architect with exposure to claims technology/systems. The Architect will be responsible for:

1. Designing the software architecture for the claims domain
2. Managing technology and development teams to implement best practice
3. Support with roadmaps
4. Collaborate with cross functional teams
5. Design secure and robust systems
6. Drive innovation and operational efficiency
7. Work in partnership with vendors/third parties

To be considered suitable for the Architect role you will need to have the following skills and experience:

1. Strong experience in domain architecture within the insurance sector
2. Good understanding of insurance claims processes and technology
3. Experience with systems architecture, design patterns and development methodologies
4. Knowledge of Guidewire would be an advantage
5. Understanding of data security and compliance
6. Experience of managing third party suppliers
