Tableau Developer Full Time

In this role as Tableau Developer you will be working as part of the wider Innovation, Research & Development team, engaged with a team of developers as you deliver extremely high quality and performant visualisations to our clients. You will be competent in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, actively engage in mentoring fellow developers, and have an interest in researching and implementing new visualisation solutions for use by external clients.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

• Understand and take ownership of the Tableau Server infrastructure

• Engender great working relationships with key stakeholders in IT, Product Management and Data Science

• Collaborate with other developers in the team

• Ensure the technology employed at the company continues to meet the needs of our clients

• Advise the Innovation, Research and Development department on solutions to technical challenges

Requirements

WHAT IT TAKES

Essential requirements

• Significant experience developing Tableau dashboards
• Tableau Server admin experience, including install, upgrade, licensing etc
• Experience using SQL for data preparation and visualisation
• Experience with relational databases and integrations with visualisation software
• Experience designing and delivering, novel data model
• An ability to prepare, present and defend project and technology proposals
• A talent for building collaboration between technical and commercial teams
