Systems Administrator – Hybrid – £28,000 – FTC
Overview:
Our client, a leading corporation owned by the government is currently recruiting a Systems Administrator who ideally has a background in Health & Safety, Construction or Public Sector internal systems. To be successful you must have good administration capabilities, ability to understand data and system support capabilities at junior level.
The successful candidate will be the Central point of contact for the Technical Services systems and key contact for any enquiries/user issues around the system acting as a first port of call.
This position is paying a basic salary of £28,000, + 15% bonus + Hybrid working located in Birmingham on a Fixed Term Contract until September 2024 with scope to extend/progress.
Roles & responsibilities:
Central point of contact for the Technical Services systems and key contact for any enquiries/user issues around the system acting as a first port of call.
Liaising with key stakeholders on the implementation of the system looking at all the custom fields, skill Matrix configuration and system usage requirements engaging the appropriate individuals in the business as and when required.
Responsible for liaising internally to configure Business Intelligence reporting and general reporting requirements.
Responsible for and oversees the hardware enrolment kit onsite, including provision of consumables for the kiosks
Manages the training qualifications, custom fields and custom workflows on the system for staff on the system
Manages the skills Matrix changes within the Health and Safety Passport System in line with internal requirements
Administer the DSE process to ensure employees requiring next line support are directed to the appropriate next step
Monitor the DSE inbox as a first point of contact and ensure enquiries are signposted to the appropriate next steps
Provision of support with the Health Exposure Monitoring System
Essential skills & requirements:
Experience of Health & Safety, Construction and Public Sector internal systems
Problem methods to solve problems with effective solutions; probes all relevant sources for answers
Planning and organising – able to prioritise and manage own workload
Experience of administering databases and being involved in continual improvements
Experience in being a specific point of contact within an organisation for requirements such as registrations/enrolments/training
Package:
Up to £28,000 per year
15% bonus
