Technical Architecture Design: You will deliver high-quality end-to-end technical architecture designs from conceptual to detailed low-level designs, utilizing leading-edge technologies. You will be responsible for the design of architectures and providing assurance of technical designs, justifying and communicating design decisions.
Strategic Direction Setting: Assist in setting the strategic direction for solution architectures, developing and implementing frameworks to maintain an acceptable level of technical risk. You will be working on key enhancements and new services in the Tier 2/3 security space.
Designs for Diverse Products: Deliver designs across a subset of products, including some products with limited maturity. You will create initial target architectures and propose technical components.
Technical Design Authority Interaction: Deliver and present high-quality presentations and supporting documentation to the Client’s Technical Design Authority, justifying your design decisions and technology choices characterized by high levels of risk, impact, and complexity.
Collaboration with Teams: Work collaboratively with Product Managers, Delivery Managers, and Engineers to produce accurate plans for the delivery, ongoing maintenance, and support of products and services. Take account of security posture, threats, and implications of design choices in highly secure micro-segmented and zero-trust architectures.
Security Assessments and Advice: Provide assessments of design/technology options as part of your design choices, recommend security controls, identify solutions supporting business objectives, advise on security-related technologies, and assess the risk associated with proposed changes.
Candidate QualitiesEssential:
Clearance and Experience: SC, willing to undertake DV Clearance. Proven experience in Solution Architecture within Government cleared environments and practical hands-on experience in security architecture and design assessments.
Technology Understanding: Good understanding of a broad range of industry-standard technologies, both proprietary and open-source, across diverse Microsoft and Linux-based deployments, across physical, virtual, and containerized compute. Also an understanding of VMware, Azure DevOps, Mobile Networks and NCSC Architecture.
EUD and Mobile Devices Expertise: Experience in EUD and Mobile devices, including device management (MDM), policies, Identity solutions, device build, and security hardening.
Application Deployment Experience: Experience in application deployments and configuration via diverse technologies and their interoperability with other applications. This includes accessibility solutions that work in conjunction with these applications.
Security Standards and Strategy: Experience working in an architecture function, developing vision, principles, and strategy for security architects across products, projects, and technologies.
Interacting with Stakeholders: Direct experience interacting with and influencing senior stakeholders and a wide range of people across teams, departments, suppliers, and customers. Good communicator across all levels.
