Software Project Manager – Bespoke Software Delivery.

The opportunity & company:
Leading Software Provider, supplying Real Time, critical solutions are looking for an experienced Software Project Manager, with proven success in delivering bespoke software products, working closely with clients to implement and deliver on defined deliverables. You will be able to understand the complex business challenges faced by our customers, recognising the challenges, and delivering change into operational environments. You will have a strong background of delivering on defined contracts and enjoy working in a client-focused/’outwards-facing’ capacity.

Software Project Manager – The key skills, experience, and responsibilities:

• Proven track record of delivering high profile, bespoke software products to time, budget, and scope.
• MUST HAVE experience of delivering Digital Software Products into Public Sector companies/environments, or similar complex organisations.
• Can adjust approach accordingly, by displaying commercial nous and adapting both Waterfall and Agile approaches, where applicable.
• Lead the commercial/contractual engagements with customers and stakeholders.
• An outward facing’ perspective, ensuring contracts are delivered to client satisfaction.
• Comfortable being the client interface and able to communicate
• Experience delivering operationally focused technology solutions.
• Experience interacting with being both operationally focused, and can be tech-conversant’ with technical teams (understand the blockers)
• Identify and schedule project deliverables, establish project budgets and manage the top-level plan to deliver.
• Exceptional relationship builder, able to gain trust and recognise where value lies.
• Commercially focused; able to identify and develop opportunities which benefit both parties.
• Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where your role may not directly control resources.
• Involvement introducing new technologies to transform new and existing client accounts (desirable)
• Development of commercial bids (desirable).

Benefits: The company offers a Hybrid working environment working from home and 1 day per week in either of their East Midlands, Bucks or London offices (whichever is best for you), with a base salary range up to £80K, depending on experience and a great benefits package.
