Our team develops and supports market-leading video streaming services, underpinned by state-of-the-art engineering principles. We do this at huge scale: for over 50 million customers globally, spanning NBCUniversal Peacock in the US and Sky, NOW and SkyShowtime across Europe. No matter the device, the time or the place, we make sure that our diverse audiences can easily find and enjoy whatever they want to watch, choosing from the world’s best entertainment, news and sport.

What you’ll do

• Building AWS and GCP Infrastructure as code

• You will be working on building an exciting new Green Field OTT Streaming platform in the cloud and supporting existing propositions

• Deploying and supporting multiple persistence platforms including Cassandra, MongoDB, MariaDB, Redis and Kafka)

• Working on high performance automation including using Terraform and Ansible

• Writing tests to ensure successful builds and state of the platform Simplifying and automating existing manual processes

What you’ll bring

• Good working knowledge of Terraform, Ansible and Jenkins

• Experience with one or more persistence platforms (Cassandra, MongoDB, MariaDB/MySQL, Redis, Kafka)

• Have a good understanding of cloud-based deployments (AWS or GCP),

• Scripting to a high level in bash and one other language

• Strong working knowledge of platform design and principles

• Excellent trouble shooting skills to resolve challenges along the way Have a proactive attitude towards development and learning

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
