Service Now Developer – Fully Remote Full Time

Sanderson are recruiting for an experienced Service Now Developer with a background in CMDB and discovery related development and deployment, early life support and training and knowledge transfer/documentation

The ideal candidate will have a wealth of Service Now development and CMDB experience

This will be a 3 month, fully remote contract, inside IR35.

Set up and deploy ServiceNow Discovery Tool to:

Test and validate discovery processes and assess impact in development and test environments.

Perform discovery in production environment of the following (the number of each device type indicates the required level of licence provision):

• 650 Servers (Windows and Linux).
• 340 Network devices.
• 500 AWS EC2 instances.
• 800 AWS ECS Containers.

Data Cleansing

• Establish and implement rules to cleanse existing CMDB to ensure no duplicates are created as part of automated discovery, whilst preserving pre-existing, critical Cis such as business and technical services.

Re-populate CMDB

• Set up automated routine to populate existing Service Now CMDB in development and test environments.
• Populate ServiceNow CMDB in Production environment, refreshing using Discovery tooling thereafter.
