We are proud to be partnering with a great charity that provides support to people who are struggling financially, to find their next Senior Website Content Officer. This role is offered on a hybrid basis initially for a 3 to 4 month period with a chance to extend further. The Senior Website Content Officer will have an overview of website content and how it is produced and will be supported in its creation by subject matter experts. They will lead on creating and refining governance, processes and standards to maintain website content and be a key support content owners to do this. The organisation is preparing to upgrade to a new Content Management System and an audit has been completed, so in addition to leading on content for the current website, this role will be involved in ensuring the content migration goes smoothly. In addition to this the Senior Website Officer will support content owners to maintain, analyses and optimise content for search engines, and work with the Web Developer to identify and implement SEO improvements. To be considered for this post you must have significant experience designing, publishing, analysing and optimising content, based on audience insight and user needs, ideally within a charitable organisation. You will be an exceptional writer with experience of producing and editing long and short form content for different audiences, with a understanding of how to take a strategic approach to content.
