As a partner of BMC Softwarewe’re now looking to hire a Senior Technical Discovery Architect ona permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Technical Architect forBMC Discovery
  • Architecting BMC Discovery solutions that meetthe needs of the customer in a cost efficient and timelymanner.
  • Design and run customer-facingarchitecture and data capture workshops focused on Cloud, Data,Applications, Infrastructure and Asset Management
  • Define/develop required features to implement a BMCDiscovery solution.
  • Configure, and integrateBMC Discovery against customer requirements.
  • Define and develop integrations.
  • Understand and translate customer business requirementsto a set of deliverables that include data analysis andreporting.
  • Providing best-practice advicewithin context of customer constraints such as security andresources
  • Developing Bids, Proof of Value,Statements of Work and Proposal documentation and other salescollateral to support customer requirements.
• Provide governance on scope of BMC Discoveryand its deliverables
• Provide consultancyadvice and guidance as required.
• Management ofcustomer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to customers ontheir projects and identifying new opportunities within theexisting customer base
• Working alongsidePre-Sales, Project Management, Service Delivery Management, ManagedService and various Leadership teams

Skills/ Experiences

• 5+ years workingwith BMC Discovery
• or – 5+ years working withsimilar discovery tooling applications
• Experience of working within the framework of largerTooling programmes, being aware of both direct and indirect impacton the BMC Discovery project and vice versa
• Experience with one or more Asset Management tools and/orBMC Discovery products
• Working knowledge ofITSM CMDBs, in particular relating to data quality andintegrations
• Worked on large scale softwareand application deployments and/or modelling of data andapplications
• Scripting/ Coding capabilitieseg. Bash, Python, PowerShell, REST etc.
