We’re working with a tech-forward, well-known business in the professional services industry that’s searching for a Senior Software Developer In Test to join their team.

Our client is investing in technology like never before, given the rapid rate of technological change, which is bridging the gap between new and major challenges that businesses face. Our client assists in the development of complex, technology-enabled business transformation efforts, especially in the Financial Services industry.

The Role

Our client approaches all of their development from a cloud-first perspective. They are cloud agnostic and only use the best of breed to satisfy the business’s needs.

Our client is looking for ambitious, talented Software Engineers in Test to take an automation-first approach to the QA process and design pipelines that allow continuous testing using some of the latest automation technologies and frameworks.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• JavaScript programming skills are required.
• Using test automation frameworks like Cypress.io and Selenium
• Create automated tests with Postman and use Newman for CI/CD.
• Manage and maintain their existing k6 load testing frameworks.
• Participate in stand-ups and other Agile ceremonies as an active and influential member of the team.
• Using cypress-axe, contribute to the accessibility test strategy.
• Carry out evidence-based test analysis and design to help improve delivery.
• Conduct comprehensive manual and automated testing, as well as being in charge of deployments.
• Throughout the development life cycle, be a quality champion.
• Create automated test scripts by creating test cases based on requirements.

Essential Skills
