The senior threat analyst will have a deep understanding of intelligence processes and their application in a commercial environment; additionally you will understand the role that threat identification and assessment plays in wider security risk management. You will have considerable experience of threat actors and the threats they pose.

You will be responsible for maintaining Indeed s situational awareness across all threat environments including human/physical, natural, regulatory, business, and cyber. You will proactively produce timely, detailed and insightful intelligence reports and assessments for all areas and levels of the business; as such you will develop and service an intelligence market driven by proactive stakeholder engagement and networking. As the senior intelligence analyst you will also provide threat assessments for routine security risk management, visits and events, travel, executive protection, new building projects, business processes, and projects. You will strive for continual improvement in indeed s intelligence capability.

You will develop and maintain a wide public and private intelligence and liaison network maintaining Indeed as an active threat intelligence community member for the good of wider society. This is an exciting opportunity to design, implement and operate a global threat intelligence program to enable enterprise threat, security risk and crisis management programs.

Program Duties:

Threat intelligence planning, collection, analysis and assessment.
Intelligence report and assessment production and dissemination.
Produce and maintain threat categorisation and registers
Stakeholder intelligence outreach
Production of threat alerts
Develop and maintain external intelligence agency liaison
Support security investigations
Support crisis management by providing situational awareness
Intelligence vendor management

Reporting:

Complete quarterly and annual reports, and work with the regional analysts on global reporting

Who You Are

The senior intelligence analyst will work with and/or liaise with all levels of employees, including senior leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the intelligence agenda and utility across the business. You will develop a loyal readership and an extensive internal network of stakeholders.

The core skills listed below are essential to the successful candidate for this position.

Extensive intelligence training and experience gained through national/military security or intelligence service
Knowledge of intelligence application in the commercial environment
Understanding of security risk management processes and the role of threat intelligence
Understanding of crisis management and the role of threat intelligence
Experience working with cyber security teams
Strong and reliable analytical powers
The ability to write clear and concise reports on complex issues for senior leaders
Comfortable working proactively and independently

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
