As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within the global data platform team providing end-to-end management and execution of quality assurance of data, analytical and AI products. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders across the globe. The role will contribute to the delivery and ensure QA principles are considered through the development and ongoing management of data collection and integration, transformation, modelling, governance, and visualisation.

With UK headquarters based in Central London, the Senior QA Engineer role is a permanent hybrid position working 3 days per week in the office. The basic salary on offer, depending on experience, is between £65,000 – £75,000 plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities as the Senior QA Engineer:

• Collaborate closely with data team members and specialists to maintain a quality-first mindset.
• Drive quality from the outset, participating in user story definition and writing test scenarios upfront.
• Lead all testing services for data initiatives, including integration, functional, and performance testing.
• Develop and implement automated testing frameworks aligned with CI/CD pipelines.
• Standardize Data Quality Rules and Governance concepts for long-term Data Observability.

Skills & Experience Required for the Senior QA Engineer role:

• Proven experience working in industry as a data lead Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, Tester or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Azure data tools such as Data Factory and Databricks
• Extensive experience with data ETL workflows, SQL, PySpark, Python, etc
• Agile methodology experience and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
