We are working with a thriving and award winning FinTech start up that are looking to build an engineering team that will be the envy of the industry!

Leading the way in lending software – allowing lenders to operate efficiently and scale seamlessly, this company has ambitious plans and are being very well backed to achieve their goals. With 2 years in the business, they are relatively new but are already looking to scale up and build on the commercial huge success so far.

They are now backed by a leading VC investor so have very ambitious growth plans, which is testament to their incredible progress over the last two years, and to their future potential.

They are looking for permanent employees to join them on their journey and as a Senior Back End Engineer, you will be working on their lending platform, developing new features and delivering performance.

Fundamentally we are looking for an experienced Senior Node.JS developer, who can design and build microservices, while also assisting in defining architecture, coding standards, and development best practice.

With this in mind, the wider tech stack includes;

• Proven ability to build applications using Node.js
• Strong Microservice ability & experience
• AWS services such as Cognito, SES, SNS
• Docker or Kubernetes
• Kafka or RabbitMQ or Similar Messaging Service
• Use of SQL as database – Postgres, MongoDB, MySQL

The ideal candidate will ideally have scale up experience as this is an opportunity to work on an early-stage greenfield project and get involved early in the product’s development. It’s an exciting time to join the company, as you’ll help shape this growth, and be given loads of autonomy to contribute to code and the technical direction of the project.

Our client offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement of 1 day per week on-site in their modern central London office with a salary of £80-90k. On top of this they offer great benefits like stock options, private health insurance and a great pension.
