As a Senior Network Engineer you will have the exciting opportunity to collaborate with a highly trained team. The function balances BAU and Project work, which includes ongoing estate management and support as well as being involved with the wider infrastructure team and technology stakeholders of the business.

Main Responsibility & Essential Skills include:

• Management of the estate including Routers, Switches, Firewalls etc there will also be exposure to other DevOps aligned methods of automation, Real Time monitoring and metrics collections using latest Open-Source toolsets
• Knowledge of the ITIL management framework and an understanding of how to apply this correctly in an agile, medium sized business
• Palo Alto Networks
• Cisco Networking including ACI
• Citrix Netscalers
• Arista Networks
• Infoblox
• BGP
• OSPF
• MPLS
• Sound routing knowledge
• The ability to prioritise projects and tasks

Desirable Skills include:

• Infrastructure as Code and automation
• Experience in Scripting including Python
• Understanding and experience of some of the technologies which include Ansible, Terraform, Bitbucket, Python, Check_MK, Grafana, ELK stack, Atlassian Jira and Confluence platforms
