Senior Low Latency Java Developer – VP Level Full Time

Leading Investment Bank is hiring a Senior Java Developer within their Front Office team to work in a high volume, low-latency environment.

You will be working to enhance the low-latency FX algo trading platform, working with the trading desks on market connectivity, pricing, execution and risk control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strategic solutions as per business needs
• Provide estimates regarding the design, development and testing time-lines
• Propose solutions to difficult problems in line with system architecture
• Deliver rapid results, analysis and solutions
• Engage and support Front Office stakeholders including trading teams, quants, infrastructure teams
• Engage with senior stakeholders and manage delivery expectations

Key Requirements:

• Excellent experience with Java, focusing on core Java
• Experience with developing low latency trading systems (focus on concurrency, Java and system performance tuning)
• Excellent academic records with a numerate degree
• Excellent communication skills
• Front Office banking experience
• Knowledge of KDB
• Full life cycle development of 1 large system – focus on high-frequency trading/pricing
• Experience working in security, cyber security, encryption
