Senior DevOps Engineer Gene-Sequencing/Life Sciences Industry 6-month Contrac Full Time

I am currently supporting a highly technical client based in the Gene-Sequencing space. The ideal candidate will have previously delivered DevOps and Software Engineering expertise across a drug discovery project, will have worked with Lab info management systems (LIMS) and have expert experience across GCP DevOps and various programming languages.

• 6 Month Contract
• Immediate Start
• £500 per day
• 2 days per week on site in London
• Outside IR35

Required Skills/Experience

• Must have experience with GCP Cloud technologies such as Cloud Build, Cloud Storage and GKE Kubernetes.
• Exposure to DevOps tools such as Docker, Terraform, Vertex AI and Mongo DB is essential
• Background in software development with programming languages such as Python and React
• Must have experience working on a Drug Discovery Project alongside Scientists.
• Demonstrate ability to gather business requirements alongside scientists and translate these into DevOps/Software needs
• Experience working with Lab info management systems (LIMS) is also essential
