Marcus Donald are currently looking to speak with solid Senior Desktop Support Engineers who are ready and looking for the opportunity to move into more of a 3rd Line Support position. This really is a great chance for someone who potentially doesn’t have growth opportunities within their current company but feel they first of all deserve the chance to grow but also are ready technically, to fulfil 3rd Line Support responsibilities.

* Just 1 day per week (Weds) in their beautiful London offices (close to Tottenham Court Rd).*

You will be joining a close-knit Infrastructure/System Support team of 4, who specialise within both Support & Projects and share the responsibility of ensuring their users are consistently supported whilst delivering upon exciting project plans for the overall IT function. For the first 9 months this will be 90% support/10% project based and more of an even split thereafter.

Senior Desktop Support Engineer – Technical Responsibilities:

• Provide IT Infrastructure support locally in London and remotely to global offices
• Handle diverse support requests from professionals within different sectors & industries
• Logging and responding to support requests in the ticketing system
• Strong Windows server 2016/2019 administration experience
• Software configuration, updates, and management
• VMware vCentre
• Active Directory and ADFS administration
• Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange management
• Good understanding of networking concepts
• Storage – 3PAR
• Backup – VEEAM

Senior Desktop Support Engineer – Desirable:

• SC Clearance
