Senior DataOps Engineer

£70,000 – £105,000 per annum or €60,000 – €100,000 per annum + minority shares

Location – Remote (Across Anywhere in Europe)

Xcede have partnered up with a boutique data consultancy! This role would be perfect for a Cloud Engineer/DevOps Engineer or Data Engineer looking to be more intertwined with the Software Engineering world the hybrid role! The organisation have a “state of the art” data engineering practise, and now looking to hire a DataOps Engineer!

DataOps Engineer will establish scalable and automated processors for large scale deployments (including implementing machine learning solutions). This role is perfect for a Data Engineer or DevOps Engineer who enjoy the infrastructure as code (Terraform/Docker) element, whilst also building scalable custom data pipelines for the internal platform being built and also for the clients.

Required Skills (at least 3 of the following):

• Python
• Kubernetes
• Terraform/Kubernetes
• Airflow
• Ingesting Data
• Data Pipelining
• Cloud knowledge in AWS, GCP and Azure

The Role:

• Working with infrastructure as code – Terraform and Docker on a daily basis (40% of the role)
• Coding environment in Python and SQL
• Implement and driving actionable and scalable solutions to create and challenge business solutions
• Building bespoke data pipelines
• Building CI/CD pipelines
• Strong drive to create adherent code which is maintained on a daily basis
