I am working with the UK’s leading platform that connects people with the approved trades and tools to make home improvements easy.

They are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to play a crucial role in scaling new business lines. Your key focus will be identifying key opportunities, developing strategic insights, and driving operational efficiency through advanced analytics and automation.

What you’ll be doing

• You’ll work closely with product, data, marketing, and sales teams to execute initiatives and empower our teams to achieve more.
• You’ll define and implementing new growth strategies across the business.
• You’ll identify trends, pain points, and review tactics employed by competitors to identify opportunities and threats with recommended actions to capitalise accordingly.
• You’ll lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of analytics tools, models, and dashboards to drive decision making.

What they are looking for

• Deep experience in analytics and solving complex business problems through data-driven insights.
• Expert level SQL and strong PowerBI and Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Python is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate data insights into strategic business decisions
• Ability to communicate and collaborate efficiently, always bringing cross functional teams along with you.
• Marketplace industry experience would be highly preferred but not essential.
