Senior Cyber Security Engineer/Architect

An exciting opportunity to join a leading global organisation as they continue with their digital transformation programme.

The successful candidate will join an internal Network & Security Architecture and Design team who are responsible globally for the architecture, design and delivery of all network and security infrastructure, including but not limited to local and wide area network technologies, Internet and cloud connectivity, security appliances, security monitoring, remote access, data centre security and micro-segmentation.

The role will have a broad scope covering the identity and access management, security monitoring and remediation, the security elements of network designs, data centre to cloud deployments/migrations, designs for resilience and high availability in data centres Azure and AWS.

Required Skills/Experience:
– Strong background in Cyber Security
– Subject matter expertise in areas such as network security, cloud security, zero trust.
– Familiarity with a variety of security tools and platforms, including Palo Alto and Microsoft including cloud service experience covering Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services
– Direct experience implementing and operating security tools such as WAF, IPS/IDS, SIEM, DLP, Automation and Orchestration, Encryption,
– Expertise in malware detection technologies and remediation.
– Industry certifications in cybersecurity, such as CISSP, GSEC, CSSP preferred.
