About the Team
Founded by seasoned entrepreneurs and experts in AI and robotics, our engineering team comprises industry specialists with extensive research and experience from renowned organizations such as Lyft, Google, Toyota, Facebook, Microsoft, Stanford, Oxford, and Cornell.

Responsibilities
We are seeking an individual to contribute to the expansion of our system to meet user demand. Working across various technologies (Front End, Back End, edge computing), you will play a key role in our Back End stack.

Responsibilities include:

• Database optimisation to accommodate the rapid growth of our customers
• Recommending and implementing new database technologies as required.
• Designing and architecting Back End APIs to ensure scalability and full observability.
• Maintaining the existing Back End codebase and system with high uptime and availability.
• Delivering high-quality features, conducting thorough testing, and resolving issues.
• Collaborating with a broader team to implement various product features

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience with a track record of building systems of reasonable scale.
• Familiarity and experience with our primary Back End technologies: Fast API, Python, Docker, Postgres, Redis.
• Experience in debugging, scaling, and optimizing API + database solutions as traffic grows.
• Bonus if you also have experience with infrastructure-as-code solutions (Pulumi over AWS), monitoring
• Grafana
• Any experience with Front End (React), platform engineering (C++) – Beneficial
• High intrinsic motivation to succeed and the ability to work hard.
