As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts, as well as executing test cases to identify defects and ensure the software meets our quality standards. You will work closely with our development and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Test automation frameworks and essential tools
• Develop and execute comprehensive UI and API automation tests to ensure the seamless functionality and user experience of our software applications
• Support, maintain, and enhance all test case automation-related activities during iterative development, system testing, and regression testing
• Establish and configure testing environments for executing test cases and scenarios
• Identify, document, and track software defects and work with development teams to resolve them
• Design and execute load and performance tests using JMeter or other tool to evaluate system scalability and performance under different conditions
• Act as an Automation Tester across all test levels, with the ability to perform unit and integration tests
• Review manual test cases for the relevant application and provide feedback on suitability for automation
• Perform database testing by writing SQL queries to validate data integrity and correctness
• Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and provide input on testability
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure the application is optimized for scalability and responsiveness
• Perform continuous integration testing in Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD environments
• Implement automated monitoring and alerting solutions to detect issues in the CI/CD pipeline and trigger appropriate responses
• Contribute to the improvement of test automation frameworks and best practices
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and implement solutions that enable asynchronous test automation for both web applications and APIs
• Incorporate security tests, such as static and dynamic analysis, into the CI/CD pipeline to identify vulnerabilities in the code
• Generate automated reports and metrics to track the success and quality of the CI/CD pipeline, and provide visibility to stakeholders

Requirements:

• More than 7 years of automation testing experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of automation best practices
• At least 5 years of coding experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core framework
• Experience with SQL for database testing, including complex queries, database design, and data integrity validation
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools for test automation and experience in setting up and maintaining automated testing pipelines
• Possess advanced skills and deep knowledge of software QA methodologies, automation tools, and processes
• Proven expertise in REST API testing, with a strong understanding of API testing frameworks, API design principles, and API automation with C#
• Demonstrated proficiency in testing complex, multi-tiered web-based systems and data-driven applications
• Proficiency in Selenium for web application testing, with a deep understanding of test automation frameworks and design patterns
• Not only lead by example but also establish and champion the best QA practices and principles, fostering a culture of excellence within their team andthe ability to mentor and coach junior QA engineers
• Must have worked with a combination of tools and frameworks to interact with both the front-end and back-end of applications in complex projects, establishing strategies for web apps, mobile apps, and APIs
• Parallel test execution and asynchronous programming knowledge
• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities, encompassing the skill to effectively engage with cross-functional teams. Fluent English is a prerequisite for this role
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, C# certifications) are a plus
• Familiarity with Microsoft tools, Azure, and related technologies is a plus
