Senior Application Support Analyst – is required for a major international banking group supporting ION Applications such as ION Anvil and ION MMI

The business is currently undergoing a strategic transformation in the London office creating a global technology hub within the Bank. You will be joining as part of the first generation of strategic hires to assist in managing the business-critical FIX applications for EMEA.

The Role:

You should come from a career background in supporting Front Office trading systems with extensive knowledge of ION applications, in particular ION Anvil and ION MMI or ION Sysadmin on Fixed Income products. To be successful you will have supported ION and/or Anvil within banking and have been involved in pre and post release of applications across the full software development life cycle within an ITIL environment.

Your technical knowledge should cover Scripting within SQL or Python and Databases such as Oracle would be beneficial but secondary to the ION applications. We are happy to talk to candidates coming from either a Windows or Linux environment.

Skills:

• Extensive experience supporting Front Office Applications
• Knowledge supporting Anvil or ION, ideally ION MMI or ION SysAdmin
• Knowledgeable on Capital Markets
• Excellent customer facing and communication skills
• ITIL knowledge
