Security Operations Manager | £60000 – £65000 | Fully Remote

Your new company is a large healthcare charity in the UK with a focus on supporting individuals to deliver safe and effective care to people in need.

Your new role

You will be responsible for ensuring that the organisations critical infrastructure is designed and optimised for security. You will also be staying up to date with the latest security standards, systems, and authentication protocols, allowing the organisation to take advantage of the latest technologies.

You will also be leading their Cyber Security Team to deliver solutions and services for them as well as monitoring security threats. This will be your chance to build secure and run new cloud platforms, as well as collaborating with Technical Architects and the InfoSec Manager.

What you’ll need to succeed

• A strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorisation
• Previous Experience
• You will need to be able to implement a range of technologies such as SASE, CASB, Firewalls etc and have an understanding DLP/IDS/IPS
• Able to understand cloud architecture and implantation features, including security services primarily with Microsoft Azure
• You will need to have a track record of information security experience
• They are looking for a candidate with strong stakeholder management skills as it will be a fundamental piece of their work by delivering programmes and liaising with internal/external stakeholders
• Experience in working in an Agile deliver environment
