Salary: Up to £65,000 (DOE)

Our client is a consultancy that works within the Tech sector. They are looking for a Security Architect that would be responsible for the company’s operations and maintenance of their Security Program and helping to design and build their architecture.

The responsibilities:

As a security consultant, you will consult with customers and design customized solutions for information problems. Working with the wider team, you will oversee the implementation of solutions and provide support and guidance to team members as they implement solutions for customers. You will also be responsible for:

• Identifying information security problems that arise from possible solution architectures and architectures
• Developing alternative solutions to mitigate identified information problems
• Using “standard” security practices and architectures to mitigate risks security.
• Developing new architectures to mitigate risk from new technologies and business processes
• Advising clients on IA and architecture issues
• Influencing key stakeholders to commit to architecture initiatives and objectives
• Advising and evaluating impact changes through CABS.
• Advising and providing solutions to known/emerging threats through reports and emergency notifications as needed.

An ideal candidate:

• Experience in cyber security architecture
• A technical background (eg from a previous ICT engineering or design role)Previous security technology experience
• Experience working in TOGAF or SABSA architecture framework
• Knowledge and experience of ISO27001:2013 standard ISC2 SSCP
• Working with CCSP
• Knowledge of cloud technologies
• Knowledge of business continuity, risk management and enterprise architecture
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Eligible for SC Clearance.
