Salary & Benefits: The base salary banding for this role is The base salary banding for this role is £57,048 – £79,274 in London and £52,912 to £66,140 outside of London plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution, 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Who are Lloyds Banking Group and where does this role sit?
Cloud Services – Platform Engineering team are looking for an agile Scrum Master. Our teams offer a range of DevOps products, tools and services to consumers of our cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
Our strategic roadmap includes delivering new platforms, products and services and continually improving our existing ones. This Scrum Master role supports the Platform Engineering teams to manage E2E delivery of change releases for the 3 public clouds operated by LBG (GCP, Azure, AWS) as well as any BAU / operational tasks. Taking ownership for coordination of day-to-day tasks and delivery activities within a Product Team, release management cycles, ensuring delivery is managed smoothly and effectively with processes, resource and MI in place as needed.
Specific activities which you’ll be responsible for include things like;
Working with Agile frameworks like Scrum/ Kanban Coaching teams through transformation journeys Identifying shortcomings or inefficiencies: proposing improvements to existing processes, systems and procedures Delivery of enterprise-class automated solutions Arranging and facilitating team ceremonies/ meetings Planning work with the SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) Leads and Squad Leads Reporting on progress of work items Identify shortcomings and opportunities, then suggest and implement improvements to existing team practices Driving platform onboarding activities + enhancements
What do we need to see from applicants?
Hands on experience working with Agile frameworks like Scrum/ Kanban Proven experience as a Scrum Master Experience and understanding of Lean and Agile principles and their applications in a complex technical / structural environment Use of Confluence / Jira work management tools Experience in coaching teams through transformation journeys Able to manage challenges, workloads and support necessary for engineers in a Product Team to deliver to the team’s vision
What else would be handy?
Exposure to Public Clouds – Azure, GCP or AWS Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or equivalent), or equivalent Worked within a Cyber Security or an Engineering function previously Expertise in MI + reporting (EazyBI / PowerBI / equivalents)
