An exciting opportunity for an experienced SAS Consultant to join a forward-thinking Credit Risk team within a leading financial services organisation. This role offers the chance to work on high-impact projects, optimise critical data processes, and contribute to a transformative recoding initiative.

The SAS Consultant will utilise their expertise in SAS and SQL to enhance and refine existing processes, resolve issues, and lead the transition of SAS workflows to SQL. They will play a pivotal role in managing business change requests, gathering requirements, and translating them into actionable technical solutions.

The successful SAS Consultant will also take ownership of the testing life cycle, ensuring robust validation of all technical builds before implementation in production environments.

SAS Consultant – Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAS (BASE, Macros, etc.), with strong skills in optimising and troubleshooting SAS processes.
• 5+ years of SQL expertise, particularly in recoding SAS workflows into SQL.
• Proven ability to manage business change requests, translating requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience leading the creation and delivery of test plans and reports to validate build strategies.
• Experience within a relevant financial services organisation is preferred
