SAP RLM or Field Logistics – 12 month initial contract – Outside IR35

Mainly remote with some occasional travel to either London or Aberdeen which is expensed. so being based in Europe is fine. This project will likely last 2-3 years and S/4 HANA Multi Site.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Field Logistics Consultant to oversee the configuration and deployment of Field Logistics for our client’s logistics to support operations and plant maintenance in remote locations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Remote Logistics Management, with a preference for those with Field Logistics experience, although we do appreciate that Field Logistics is still relatively new. The Consultant will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the supply chain processes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and services.

What will you be doing?

Helping a new offshore operator design and build out their end state logistics processes.

Oversee and manage the definition of end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation from base to remote locations.

Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to logistics and transportation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to align logistics activities with business objectives.

Manage and resolve any logistics-related system issues that may arise during the life cycle of the project.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all functional and technical work performed.

Proven experience in Remote Logistics Management, with a preference for Field Logistics experience.

Experience with processes that support logistics to remote locations within upstream operations.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
