A trusted provider of health and safety (H&S) assessments. Today, they are the UK’s leading provider of compliance and risk management services, helping contractors (suppliers) and clients (buyers) demonstrate compliance with their award-winning supply chain and risk management services.

They are a growing business with plans to broaden and deepen their customer base. Pivotal to this is the ability to analyse market and customer data, and use it to target and convert sales opportunities.

Your new role

• As an experienced, expert, Sales Data Analyst you will work with our internal and external data sources to help generate increased revenue.
• You will report to the Sales Operations Manager, who is responsible for ensuring sales performance across the Business Development and Client Success teams. This role places you at the centre of client sales and lead generation for the wider Telesales function.
• You will be an experienced data analyst, used to working in a sales environment.
• You will use your experience in data management and analysis using CRM software, as well as various internal and external databases and data sources.
• Confidence in developing systems and processes in a sales data environment will be critical. There is the potential to transform how we use data to drive sales.
• Ability to bring experience of best practice from elsewhere, as well as a creative – and tenacious – approach to driving change and improvement.
• The requirement is therefore for an experienced sales data analyst, with proven methods for supporting and transforming the role of data in sales growth. You will also be experienced and comfortable in change management. For example, bringing your methods and toolkits into the business, and applying and implementing them across the client sales organisation.
• Confident in introducing your ideas, gaining buy-in at all levels of the organisation, advising and supporting the team’s adoption, and implementing better ways of creating, analysing, and using, sales data.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Data management and analysis in a sales environment
• Experience of, and expertise in, CRM software, including the development and implementation of workflows, management information and reports
• Expertise in Excel and Power BI to produce insightful reports covering historical results, current performance, KPIs, and forecast revenue.
