Salary & Benefits: The base salary banding for this role is £92,432 – £135,440 dependant on location, plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution, 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

You will be leading the formulation and delivery of strategies, policies and processes to identify risks. You will challenge and advise the business to mitigate and control risks in the Chief Technology Office. We’re seeking a hard-working individual to lead our CTO Governance & Risk function who ensure effective management processes, practices and controls are in place across the division.
Specific activities which you’ll be responsible for include things like;
You’ll be leading, operating and evolving the technology governance model within CTO adopting innovation and improvements Working collaboratively with technology colleagues to ensure that we have a fit for purpose technology governance framework, which enables effective decision making with appropriate control Driving CTO risk maturity; effectively managing the CTO risk portfolio, proactively managing CTO risks and controls, control tests, and execution of risk action plans Working with our teams we provide ongoing risk management support to CTO colleagues, working closely with risk partners from across the Group Authentically support our approach, which enables the level of autonomy acceptable to the Group (based on risk and SMCR considerations) in change execution; govern by exception Some technical understanding would be of benefit as the role sits within a Technical division and is responsible for managing and facilitating the Architecture Review Committee (ARC) You will be accountable for managing our Reference Architecture – leading and iteratively improving so our technology colleagues have easy access to our technical architecture direction, content.
