Quality Assurance Lead – Test Automation and Team mentoring

£55,000 – £65,000 + excellent benefits

A Software Test Lead/QA Lead position is available for an established reputable Digital business going through a period of ongoing project due to expansion and development of new products. The Test Lead would act as a Lead for a small team of test Analyst and remain hands-on with web-based testing and automation in an Agile environment.

The company can offer regular home working options with 3 days WFH per week, with the option of working at their offices in London or Hampshire (Southampton, Portsmouth or Basingstoke area is commutable).

This ideal candidate will have previous Lead or mentoring experience but Senior Test analysts looking for a Lead role will be considered. Experience of automation testing is also essential, ideally using Selenium and Java, though C#/Selenium will also be considered and commercial experience of working to Agile, SCRUM processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor other Test analysts in the team
• Assist in delivering the agreed Test Plan and Strategy
• Perform web-based functional software testing
• Automation testing using Selenium
• Follow Agile, SCRUM processes

Skills

• 3years+ commercial software testing experience
• Automation testing using Selenium
• Excellent communicator, able to work effectively with all levels of the business
• Experience leading or mentoring others
• Knowledge of Web and Mobile testing is preferred
• Experience with CI/CD is preferred
