Python Developer / Full Stack Engineer (Python TypeScript AWS) Remote UK to £90k

Are you a technologist seeking an opportunity to make an impact at a scale-up tech company?

You could be progressing your career as a Python Developer, working on a Tech for Good healthcare product that enables users to better manage their patient experience.

As a Python Developer you’ll collaborate with a small, globally distributed team (UK, USA, New Zealand) to develop Machine Learning models on the core product, working with Data Scientists to productionise their ideas as well as designing and developing new features. You’ll be working with a modern tech stack and using a range of technology including Python, TypeScript, SST, AWS, Node.js and SQL, in a core software engineering position.

You’ll work fairly autonomously, taking ownership of your work, but will also be problem solving and contributing to technical discussions with other senior engineers.

The company has big plans to scale into European and other global markets (currently successful in the US); you’ll be able to make a real impact and progress in seniority as the company scales.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home anywhere in the UK, please note some flexibility around working hours will be required to enable interaction with colleagues based in the US and New Zealand due to time zones.

Requirements:

• You’re a skilled Software Developer / Engineer with a strong knowledge of software engineering best practices
• You have strong technical skills with Python and TypeScript
• You have a good knowledge of AWS and serverless computing, AWS Lambda
• You’re data savvy and have a good knowledge of SQL
• You have advanced analysis, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms
• You have experience of working remotely with globally distributed teams
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
