Requirements:

– – Good product sense and an eye for design
– Ability to navigate large TypeScript codebases
– Can bring features from concept to completion and iterate on them
– Comfortable with CSS
– Happy with full-remote working

Responsibilities:

– You will work on:
– Improving the user experience with our apps, used day-to-day on crop fields in various conditions (offline, bad weather )
– Understanding agronomists needs and translating them into product features.
– Helping our clients oversight of their portfolios with clear information and reporting.
– Building abstractions that enable us to re-use code across web, mobile, & server.
– Cramming gigabytes of data into our Android and iOS apps.

Technology:
– We are mostly agnostic of people’s background, as long as they’re willing to learn!
– We use Node, React, & React Native, and share much of the Typescript code between the three platforms.
– We sometimes use Objective-C / Kotlin / C++ to access native features on iOS/Android, such as our library, react-native-leveldb.
– We use Postgresql, PostGIS, Python, GDAL, and numpy to store & process everything else, from agronomic data to timeseries & vector graphics.
