Product Owner needed for a growing boutique client:
Lead the gathering, understanding, documentation and translation of the business requirements for product, translating into detailed user stories, processes and wire frame mapping (as appropriate), with supporting acceptance criteria.
Support the Product & Operations Director to manage and prioritise backlog, ensuring it is visible, transparent, and clear to all and understood by the software delivery team to the level needed and shows what the team will work on next
Work through app client solution implementation, app/website management, process mapping, and technical implementation for both suppliers and clients
Collate client feedback and insight with supplier feedback, prioritise and then define appropriate enhancements
Work a to assist the partnership director in the identification and eventual implementation of customer journey enhancing 3rd parties
Understands the different phases of product and operational delivery while contributing to plan and run these
Work with all teams across the business to align workstreams and dependencies to ensure acceptance criteria are met. Planning and engaging with the appropriate stakeholders at a appropriate stage in the project.
Identify problems, analysing and helping to identify the appropriate solution and prioritise remedies.
Work alongside project and development teams to define plans and priorities with accurate and measurable estimates deliverables.
Work with development and QA teams to ensure all stories are understood and appropriate test plans are developed
Facilitate User Acceptance testing and customer signoff
Manage issue gathering and resolution within delivery environment ensuring that business requirements are met without compromising the integrity of the process improvement(s) or applications being implemented.
Provide the link between the customer, development team and any third-party regarding software functionality, throughout the development life cycle.
Skills & Experience Required:
Soft skills and team work to match our culture (Critical)
A solid understanding of mobile apps (hybrid vs. native) and how they interface with Back End information systems
A grounding in Product Ownership, with a focus to develop expertise and skills within role
App/website ownership in previous roles is critical
Ability to interact, own and drive conversations with both business sponsors, operations, architects, and technical implementation partners
Experience of managing resources across a Matrix organisation
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Supplier management and influencing skills
Ability to transform data into insight and prioritise solutions that deliver maximum value.
Good awareness of product development life cycle – experience in the end to end construction of a service and the rollout to suppliers & implementation with applicable Front End
Able to build effective relationships through positive communication that motivates and influences others.
Able to leverage stakeholders’ experience, expertise and perspectives, and to work with and challenge stakeholders appropriately.
Able to understand and work constructively within the given constraints, but also to identify which constraints can be challenged and how to challenge them effectively.
