Joining us as Product Manager, you will lead the transformational rollout of salesforce at CAI, building and leading a dedicated team through the rollout and consolidation of central business service’s into Salesforce, working with business and product counterparts in different markets focusing on delivering a best-in-class experience across the UK that enhances our current suite of products and adds value for our customers and business whilst staying ahead of the market and competitors.
Role:
In this role, you will lead the rollout and consolidation of central business service’s into Salesforce, act as the liaison between business users and technical resources, supporting the implementation of business solutions using Salesforce by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
Within the organisation, you’ll work with multiple senior stakeholders across the wider international business as well as Development, Sales, Operations, Customer Support, Marketing, Finance, Legal and senior business leaders.
You will develop a strong understanding of the business, people, products, and customers to help you develop the confidence to solve the right customer’ problems, evaluating product opportunities and defining the products to be built to address those opportunities. You must be a strategic thinker, understand your customers and users and empathise with their problems to develop the right solutions in collaboration with your team.
You will be a ‘Settler’, dealing with growing a maturing product in the market by delivering differentiating capabilities through constant improvement; driven by metrics and can inform exactly how you would measure the impact of a new feature.
Responsibilities
Be the gatekeeper and ensure the company is creating the right business solutions using the right Salesforce-related products, services, and Salesforce products or guide on whether to build vs buy.
Managing end to end “know your customer” programme of work on Salesforce.
Develop strong relationships with team members, internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure alignment with and support Development, Sales, Operations, Customer Support, Marketing, Finance, Legal and senior business leaders to drive the strategic priorities.
Ensure excellent collaboration with marketing and that the go to market strategy is clear when releasing new products or features
Constantly seek out and assess product opportunities and decide which ones to pursue.
Use discovery phases to understand your customers and gain references for your launch.
Product management is about making choices: use personas and product principles to help you with this.
Define a clear, value driven roadmap for now, next and the future.
Creating, refining, and prioritising the Salesforce development backlog, ensuring that it contains clear and actionable Epics, Features and User Stories.
Required skills/experience
Solid understanding of CRM and related business solutions and must have knowledge of rolling out Salesforce across multiple businesses, providing single view of the customer and helping standardise process where necessary.
Ability to facilitate a team to consensus on scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions.
Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a dynamic environment with changing and multiple priorities.
Ability to build and maintain positive rapport with customers, team members, stakeholders at all levels.
Strong experience in digital transformation
Strong organisational skills and time-management
Proven experience in product development, including successful product launches (as an advantage)
Proven skills to develop, communicate, and execute innovative and successful product initiatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Expert in product development methodologies, especially Agile and Design Thinking
Excellent judgment and discretion
Preferred skills/experience
Ideally experience in marketing, retail, technology, or automotive industries
Ideally experience in both B2B and B2C environments
