As Tropic’s evolution continues, we’re looking for an ambitious, innovative and passionate Product Manager – Bodycare to join a newly formed team consisting of creative and talented individuals who bring an abundance of expertise to strategically grow Tropic’s bodycare’s business.
You will look after, grow and develop Tropic’s impressive bodycare line, taking it to new levels by combining your on-trend knowledge and expertise to come up with new, efficacious and naturally derived products, using the best ethical and organic ingredients the Tropics have to offer!
This role will facilitate the exciting development of the most effective, ethical and natural bodycare products in the world, from concept to market. Together with other key areas of the business, you will work on the journey from product conception, ingredients and formulation to marketing, design, production and packaging.
Represent Tropic s ethos by becoming the bodycare subject matter expert for the development of new bodycare products that align with Tropic s Infinite Purpose.
Create bright, fresh and exciting new bodycare concepts using the latest and most effective, ethically and organically sourced ingredients to expand and strengthen the current product range.
Be up to date and ahead of the latest bodycare trends in terms of products, packaging and ethical and naturally derived ingredients.
Carry out in-depth research and analysis across multiple areas, including key competitors, organic, ethically sourced and naturally derived ingredients and formulations, feasibility, production, packaging and delivery.
Present new and exciting bodycare findings and NPD ideas to the Brand Director, CEO and wider teams.
Manage multiple project timelines and oversee project milestones, including concept, design, production, testing, sampling and packaging, through to delivery.
Write and implement an insights-led strategy for Tropic s bodycare category in order to drive growth.
Work closely with the Marketing and Design teams to convey new concepts.
Assist with the marketing of the range and help to communicate key selling points in product marketing materials for customers and Ambassadors.
Work with external parties, where applicable, to assess the bodycare EPD and NPD.
Collect and collate all feedback and product suggestions to enhance and inform skincare NPD and EPD decisions, where applicable.
Monitor sales activity and identify which products need marketing attention to improve sales performance.
Manage financial administration, including budgeting, negotiating and invoicing.
Provide in-depth sales analysis and reports.
Identify any continual improvements required for product enhancement and implement action plans and timelines to make any necessary changes.
Contribute to the creation of a wide range of content, blog posts, training documents and videos for social media, customers and Ambassadors.
Create innovative bodycare gifting and product collection ideas for annual events and celebrations.
A true passion for creating new, innovative, effective and ethical bodycare products using the best organic, naturally derived ingredients.
Demonstrable NPD experience (at least 10 years) in the bodycare category.
Proven experience of developing bodycare products and formulations using the latest ethical, organic ingredients.
Demonstrable experience in writing and executing strategies for beauty brands in order to drive growth.
Understands the importance of adhering to process when developing innovative products.
A strong, creative and intuitive mindset, with the ability to create and implement new products, sustainable packaging and gifting ideas.
The ability to interpret multiple types of data, including sales figures, feedback and costings, across key areas of the business and to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
A proactive, reliable and responsible approach.
Able to demonstrate flexibility, create structure and opportunities in the face of ambiguity.
A strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office programmes.
Self-motivated and forward thinking, with a positive and professional attitude.
Qualified in dermatology with experience of working with international, luxury beauty and skincare/bodycare brands would be advantageous.
Full time role: 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days a week required in the office.
Office is conveniently located just 3 minutes walk from Beddington Lane Tram stop, which is connected to East Croydon and Wimbledon – both 20 minutes away. Approx. 30 min travel time from South West London, 35 mins from South London (Brixton, Stockwell etc.)

Starting salary is depending on experience.
