Product Designer – Mid Level – £50k

Explore group have partnered up with a fast-growing E-commerce company. Who are seeking a talented and experienced mid-level product designer with strong visual design skills to join their design team. As a product designer, you will be responsible for creating compelling and visually appealing designs for their the complete remodel of their website and brand. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and other designers to ensure that our products are innovative, user-friendly, and meet our customer’s needs.

Your Responsibilities-

• Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and design specifications for our automotive products.
• Develop sketches, renderings, and 3D models and effectively communicate design concepts.
• Create high-fidelity visual designs for digital interfaces, including infotainment systems, instrument clusters, and other automotive displays.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure that design solutions meet business objectives and user needs.
• Participate in design critiques and give and receive feedback in a constructive manner
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive and collaborative team culture.

What we’re looking for-

• 3+ years of experience in product design, with a strong emphasis on visual design for automotive products.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Sketch.
• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
• Experience working with start ups.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of design projects also work with UX/UI Designers, engineers, and other Product designers.
