Due to the hybrid nature of the teams, we require the successful candidate to be based in the above BBC office to work from the office one / two days per week

Job Introduction
BBC’s Corporate Systems team delivers the technology and services that enable the BBC to fulfil its strategic and business goals for areas such as Finance, Procurement, Treasury, HR and other corporate functions.
The SAP Procurement Principal Systems Engineer role sits in Corporate Systems Finance, Procurement & Treasury Product Management team combining Procurement business and SAP technical expertise, working closely with BBC’s Procurement teams, our third party outsourcing providers and in-house development teams to deliver the best possible services, products and projects.
Main Responsibilities
As a SAP Procurement Principal Systems Engineer you will ensure that the overall performance of SAP and non-SAP procurement applications meets business requirements. You will provide detailed technical system expertise, support and have knowledge in both a service delivery (‘business as usual’) and business change (small changes and projects) capacity ensuring dependencies and relationships between all associated systems are understood and maintained and the business impacts of technical changes are communicated effectively to relevant stakeholders.
Are You The Right Candidate?
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience of working in a complex SAP landscape with expertise in implementing SAP Procurement end to end solutions. Deep knowledge and experience of SAP Procurement having worked in both BAU and project environments you’ll be able to lead on requirements gathering and present solution options that align with business strategies. You’ll be able to configure the system as well as work with 3rd party outsourcing service providers performing this function.
Essential Skills:
SAP Materials Management (MM)
SAP Ariba (Guided Buying)
SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
SAP Opentext VIM
Detailed integration knowledge with SAP Finance
Procurement background.
Desirable Skills:
Integration knowledge with SAP BW/BPC.
Procurement qualification
Non SAP Procurement systems experience
Experience with working with 3rd Party outsourcing providers
