Job Description
This job will be within the managed service at Version 1, focussed on the support of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure but will expect the candidate to be able to support JDE CNC as well. The ideal candidate would have skills in JDE CNC but it is not critical to have them from the outset as training can be provided. Although the primary role will be within the managed service there will be opportunities to work on projects for both JDE and Oracle Cloud. The candidate will be expected to be able to manage tickets within the managed service for various issues with key skills being the ability to resolve networking issues within Oracle Cloud and manage JDE environments with tasks such as patches and upgrades.
Required Skills:
OCI – Able to support Oracle cloud environments
DevOps – Terraform – Able to do full implementations of cloud infrastructure builds using Terraform.
Linux – Administrative skills such as creating user accounts and mounting block volumes, a candidate with basic Linux command line skills will still be considered with training being provided.
OCI – Experience working with IPSec VPNs.
OCI – Experience in debugging network routing and network security group issues within OCI.
OCI – Experience with user management and IAM policies with OCI.
Desirable – Not having any of these will not prevent interview.
Fastconnect – Experience with fastconnect configurations.
Oracle Database – Experience with Oracle databases is advantageous. Basic experience such as TNS connections to Oracle database, and how to work with database links. SQL Server
Experience with SQL Server databases.
OIC – Experience working with Oracle Integration cloud, particularly provisioning and working with connectivity agents. The ability to create and work with integrations is not a requirement.
JDE CNC – Able to maintain and support JDE environments with experience of: Applying patches & bug fixes (ESUs). Package build and deployment. Regular system checks, performance monitoring & maintenance activities. JDE upgrades and release updates.
Qualifications
Required:
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2023 Architect Associate (1Z0-1072-23).
Desirable:
Oracle Certified CNC administrator.
Hashicorp Terraform Associate
Oracle Linux Certification
ITIL
