Node Developer / Back End Software Engineer (Node.js AWS API) London to £100k

Do you have expertise with Node.js backend development combined with a strong knowledge of AWS?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a scale up payments technology company that specialise in smooth lining Insurance payouts for major brokers.

As a Node Developer you will join a small team and take ownership of back end development for the core payments processing platform. You’ll be using Node.js and building API integrations within an AWS, microservices environment, designing, building and maintaining scalable and secure back end systems.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the London office 1.5 days per week.

Requirements:

• You have strong backend web development experience with Node.js (JavaScript)
• You have a strong knowledge of AWS, ideally including serverless architecture with AWS Lambda
• You have experience of building integrations with API business partners
• You have a strong knowledge of software engineering best practices and the ability to design services with a focus on robustness, scalability and resilience
• You have experience with microservices
• You have previous experience of working on payments or accounting software e.g. Stripe, Sage, GoCardless, PayPal
• You’re a technologist who enjoys problem solving and collaborating
