Each year, Young Enterprise helps thousands of young people develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to succeed. Through our nationwide enterprise and financial capability programmes, we give young people the opportunities and experiences to discover who they are and what they’re good at. We are looking for an enthusiastic and people-oriented individual to join Young Enterprise as our Next Steps Manager within the Impact and Insights team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-moving youth-focused charity committed to improving young people’s prospects, with the role having a particular focus on continuing support for young people after they leave education. About the role This is a new role at Young Enterprise, so we are looking for an individual who is comfortable with change and excited by the prospect of developing and delivering Young Enterprise’s plans for our Next Steps offer. The postholder will be responsible for the rollout and evolution of our digital signposting Opportunities Hub, co-creation of new resources and events, and the continuation of newsletters and other communications with our Young Enterprise alumni, including through social media. This is an ideal opportunity for the postholder to build on events and relationship management experience, expand digital platform knowledge and skills, and work collaboratively with an amazing cross-section of young people to ensure their voices are heard and their needs are being met. Working closely with other members of the Impact and Insights team, the role will have a special focus on impact measurement and tracking early career pathways, with opportunities related to this for your own personal learning and professional development. As our Next Steps Manager, you will be the primary contact for our alumni community, helping to evolve and grow networks, while managing data protection and accuracy of our database records. We are looking for: Excellent communicator with strong networking skills to seek out opportunities and connections Confident user of IT, MS Office and social media, such as LinkedIn and Instagram Capability to oversee and administer the Opportunities Hub digital platform (Wordpress), including content searching and selection Positive, can-do approach to tasks, able to organise, prioritise and problem-solve Experience of account management, UX and/or event planning, with knowledge of data protection policies and responsibilities Up-to-date awareness of issues, practice and thinking relating to education and young people Why work for us? This is a Home-based or London/Hybrid role (Hybrid requires working from our London office a minimum of four times per month).
