Network Engineer – DNS Full Time

Templeton and Partners are currently on the look for a Network (DNS) Engineer to join one of your telco leading clients on a 9month contract with extensions possible.

Location: London

Hybrid: 2 days in office

Process: 1 stage Interview (Technical)

Skills
Experience working with VM, Linux boxes.
Deep understanding of DNS and infrastructure.
Experience in PowerDNS, iVinylDNS, CoreDNS, BIND etc
Database Evaluation, Replication of Secondary DNS, AXFR Query
Linux knowledge with networking.
Deploying and managing DNS Servers.
Authoritative DNS service design/deployment
Maintains DNS configuration for supporting Servers
Strong background automating the configuration and management of large-scale platforms: Linux, Git, any Scripting language like Python, Go, Bash, Scala etc
Good understanding of network infrastructure and network infrastructure protocols TCP, BGP, and DNS
AWS knowledge is a plus
Working with Akamai DNS is a plus

Skills Good to Have:
– Load Balancing configuration and management Eg. F5.
– Familiar with Central Auth, LDAP
