MPLS Network Lead – WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN – Home/London/Northern Ireland – £40K – £60K
You will cover lead and manage the team responsible for implementation, management, maintenance and support of all network infrastructure, perimeter security systems and network management platforms on behalf of a leading, global service provider. Supporting WAN, MPLS, BGP, EIRGP, VPN technologies to name a few.
This would suit a seasoned lead/manager who wants a larger team within a large organisation. Or, an engineer with extensive MPLS/WAN experience who wants a taste of leadership. Be hands on as little or as much as you want.
Can be aligned to either London OR Northern Ireland (Office travel 2x per week)
Key Skills:
- Day-to-day maintenance and operation of the above in secure environments.
- Experience in a technical lead and/or support lead role.
- Extensive experience of supporting a broad range of MPLS/SD-WAN and MWAN technologies.
- Experience of Juniper/Fortinet and Cisco network solutions.
- Experience with ISP and circuit supplier engagements.

Your Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of the support team.
- Ensure workload is allocated effectively to optimise available resource and skill levels.
- People management and development.
- Maintain a positive attitude and a high level of customer service at all times.
- Contribute to the overall development of the operational systems and processes.
- Being part of the Operational Support Services group, facilitating the resolution of complex technical and business problems, which have an impact on technical and financial results of the company.
