Our leading financial services client is looking for a Mendix Developer to join their team for an initial 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Mendix applications, adhering to internal best practices and guidelines.
• Collaborate with business analysts, designers, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into functional applications.
• Customise and extend Mendix functionality using widgets, microflows, and JavaScript actions.
• Perform code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and ensure code quality.
• Integrate Mendix applications with external systems using APIs and web services.
• Collaborate with the testing team to ensure proper unit testing and resolve any reported defects.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Mendix applications.
• Stay updated with the latest Mendix features, enhancements, and industry trends.
• Develop complex solutions across different applications with a focus on reusability by creating reusable components.
• Work closely with development leads and business teams to solve technical blockers.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java technologies.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD practices using Jira and Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with AWS, specifically S3 and API connections.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and marketplace modules like SSO, Excel Exporter, and AuditTrail.
