Mass Spectrometry Applications Specialist – Omics Full Time

A world leading mass spectrometry manufacturer is seeking an accomplished and commercially astute mass spectrometrist to join their team as an Application Specialist.

As a field based technical specialist, your time will be split between pre- and post-sales support.

Your duties will cover the following:

– Aiding in the development of customer methods

– Demonstrating methods/proof of concept

– Technical support to the sales team

– Provide customer training and support

In addition, you will also get to attend high profile conferences, presenting technological advancements in the industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Scientist to utilise their wealth of mass spectrometry method development/troubleshooting experience across a range of application areas including proteomics and metabolomics.

This role is homebased and will include 60% travel to customers sites or company application laboratories around the UK.

In addition to a strong knowledge; excellent communication and organisation skills are a must.
